The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), has stated that 2025 will be a “landmark year,” prophesying that it will be unforgettable for a lot of people and many will not survive its trials.
Delivering the prophetic message during the church’s annual Crossover Service in Shimawa, Ogun State, Pastor Adeboye stressed that 2025 would be marked by significant events and shifts.
"The year 2025 will be a year nobody will ever forget," Adeboye said, describing it as a momentous period where the long-awaited breakthroughs and divine interventions would come to fruition. He also noted that the winds of change, which started in the previous year, would strengthen as they continued into 2025.
He also highlighted a shift in support systems, stating that earthly helpers would be replaced by heavenly helpers, signaling divine intervention in people's lives. However, the pastor warned that those who mocked others would become more aggressive, but many of them would not survive the year, stressing the importance of repentance.
Despite the harsh warning, Adeboye affirmed that God's will is for everyone to repent, as He does not desire the death of a sinner. Yet, some people have already made their decision to resist change.
In a note of hope, the pastor prophesied that some towns and villages would experience victory, marking a year of liberation for certain communities.
