Martins Vincent Otse widely known as VeryDarkMan is a controversial social media personality and influencer born on April 8, 1994, and hails from Edo State, Nigeria.

VeryDarkman or VDM gained mainstream prominence in 2022 when he started creating and uploading controversial videos on his social media pages, particularly Instagram and Facebook.

He quickly gained more attention in the media space when he called out Jenny's Glow after customers raised concerns about her product.

1.) VeryDarkMan or VDM for short is an internet critic, and human rights activist born on April 8, 1994, in Lagos State, Nigeria. He hails from Edo State, South-South region of Nigeria, and currently lives in Abuja, the FCT of Nigeria.

2) He obtained his Bachelor's degree in Business administration from the University of Lagos, Lagos State.

3) VeryDarkMan has formed a strong bond with fellow social media influencer, Tunde Ednut and Nigerian's famous Afrobeats musician, Davido. The Afrobeats singer, Davido followed VDM on his Instagram and further took him to the 66th Annual Grammy Awards held on February 4, 2024, at the Crypto.com Arena, Los Angeles, United States.

4) VeryDarkMan has sequentially been nominated for the Silverbird's most social media influencer of the year.

5) In 2024, VeryDarkMan was arrested by the Nigerian police for alleged cyberbullying. He was charged with five counts of cyberstalking, including false allegations against Nollywood actresses Iyabo Ojo and Tonto Dikeh and accusing senior police officers and Lawmakers of misconduct. He however gained freedom.

On June 30, 2024, VDM was widely reported to be arrested by the Nigerian Police at his residence in Abuja. His lawyer, Deji Adeyanju confirmed the arrest of VDM, which was linked to defamation allegations following his recent social media expose.
