2024 Access Holdings results await CBN’s nod

Access Holdings Plc has announced a delay in filing its audited results for the 2024 financial year on the back of approval from its regulator, the Central Bank of Nigeria.

According to an official announcement on Monday, signed by the Company Secretary, Sunday Ekwochi, the financial results have already been submitted to the Central Bank of Nigeria for approval.

Per post-listing requirements, firms on the January-December calendar listed on the NGX have to file their audited financial report by March 31 of the following year at the latest.

The statement clarifies that the anticipated delay stems from the ongoing review and CBN approval process, which may be further impacted by public holidays. Consequently, Access Holdings Plc anticipates that it might not meet the extended deadline for filing the result with the NGX, which was previously announced.

“While awaiting the CBN’s review and approval of the Result, which may be impacted by the public holidays, it is anticipated that the Company may not meet the extended deadline for filing the Result with NGX. Consequently, the Company has been granted a further extension of time to file the Result on or before April 20, 2025, subject to the CBN’s approval of the Result,” part of the statement read.

Access Holdings went on to remind insiders that the earlier declared Closed Period concerning transactions on its securities remains until 24 hours after the release of the Result still subsists.
