Supporters of Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party have been reported to have hijacked the campaign rally of former chairman of the All Progressive Congress, Adams Oshiomhole in Benin.
In a video making rounds, Oshiomhole and members of the Tinubu/Shettima campaign train went to Ring Road in Benin, Edo state, on Thursday, February 9, to rally ahead of the February election but met stiff resistance from Peter Obi's supporters.
Obidients as Peter Obi supporters are known as arrived in large numbers at the rally grounds and started chanting Peter Obi's name with posters and banners been aved around.
Oshiomhole who had arrived at the venue to speak to the crowd met a resistance as the people began to continued chanting "Peter Obi".
The heavy presence of Obi's supporters disrupted the planned rally of Tinubu's campaign team as they made their way out of the venue with the help of some security men.
