ThankGod Ikoma, one of the survivors of the tragic boat accident that killed actor Junior Pope and numerous other crew members, has shockingly revealed that Mercy Johnson was on the doomed vessel.

The conversations surrounding the tragedy have become even more intense as a result of ThankGod Ikoma's revelation, which has garnered a lot of attention online.

Adanma Luke's film "The Other Side of Life" was being shot when Junior Pope and four other crew members tragically drowned in the Anam River in Anambra state. Their deaths sparked intense emotions and national media attention.

Following this tragic incident, several survivors, bystanders, and the movie producer have come forward with varying versions of what happened before and after the boat crash.

Among the flurry of stories that arose in the immediate aftermath, it's interesting to note that Mercy Johnson's name was conspicuously absent from the list of passengers on the capsized boat.

During his testimony at Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin's church, ThankGod Ikoma, a survivor of the boat catastrophe who received a N2 million gift from the billionaire Prophet, detailed the terrifying event that preceded the capsizing.

He revealed that, along with four other unfortunate crew members, he and the late Junior Pope were on board the boat when the awful occurrence on the Anam River occurred.

However, in an unexpected turn of events, Mercy Johnson's identity has come to light as one of the passengers on board on the day of the mishap.

Many have asked ThankGod to clarify whether the Mercy Johnson he was referring to is the Nollywood Mercy Johnson or a different one since the actress has never mentioned being on the boat since Junior Pope's death.

This information was made public a few days after Mercy Johnson's colleague Angela Okorie accused her of being a witch.
